Oh. My. Gosh! What an amazing weekend we had at the LA Yoga Expo in Pasadena, California! We met SO many super-awesome people. This was the first time we’ve shown our mats at a big event, and everyone’s reaction to them was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for all of your love and support (and your orders, of course! SO many orders… It’s going to take a while to process them all — please be patient!) It’s really, really gratifying to discover that we’ve created something that complete strangers love as much as we do. Our only regret is that we didn’t bring any mats to sell on-site (though one of you — I’m looking at you, Viktoriia — was so persistent and came back so many times that she finally convinced us to sell her a “floor model”. I’m pretty sure we could have sold 50 Frida “She Brings It to the Canvas” mats alone!)
Also, an extra-big thanks to those of you who attended my afternoon session, “Happiness Is Your Freedom”. Facing a room of 200+ people was…such a gift. You all showed so much support and generosity. I hope you all loved the experience as much as I did! If you missed the session, or if you made it to the session and want to learn more, I was teaching from the book Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. I can’t wait to see you all again next year!

P.S. For all of you who entered our free yoga mat giveaway… our winner is Sarah Herrington! We really wish we could give a free yoga mat to all of you, but that wouldn’t be a good idea. (We really do wish we could though!) We hope to be able to post an interview and profile of her here soon, so watch this space! In the meantime, a little bit to know about her is that she’s an AMAZING bi-coastal writer, poet, yogi, and yoga instructor. There’s too much awesomeness about her to fit into this little paragraph, so go check out her site (at least until we have a chance to interview her for you)!
